data protection

Protecting your personal data is of utmost importance to us. Therefore, we process your data exclusively on the basis of legal provisions (GDPR, TKG). The following privacy policy informs you about the collection and processing of personal data on this website.

It is meant to explain how we handle your personal data and what you can expect when you use our services.

Collection, Processing, and Use of Personal Data

Each time you visit this website, automatic (partly personal) data are collected and processed. The following data are collected for the purpose of creating visitor statistics about the use of this website, improving the website, and protecting against cyber attacks:

  • Date and visit of the URL where the visitor is located,

  • URL that the visitor has visited immediately before,

  • Used browser,

  • Operating system used,

  • The visitor's IP address.

Use of Google Adwords Conversion Tracking

We occasionally use the online advertising program "Google AdWords" and, as part of Google AdWords, Conversion Tracking. Google Conversion Tracking is an analysis service of Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google"). When you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie for conversion tracking is stored on your computer. These cookies expire after 30 days, contain no personal data, and thus do not serve personal identification. Services of US companies currently pose special data protection risks because there is no adequate level of data protection in the USA according to the GDPR and you may not be able to effectively enforce your rights.

If you visit certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that you clicked on the ad and were redirected to this page. Each AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Thus, there is no possibility that cookies can be tracked across the websites of AdWords customers.

The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for Conversion Tracking. Customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive information that personally identifies users.

If you do not want to participate in tracking, you can object to this use by preventing the installation of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly, switching off the cookie in the cookie configuration, or deactivating it here. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

Google Maps

This website uses the mapping service Google Maps. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Services of US companies currently pose special data protection risks because there is no adequate level of data protection in the USA according to the GDPR and you may not be able to effectively enforce your rights.

To ensure data protection and to prevent your data from being transmitted to Google when you visit our website, Google Maps is initially deactivated. A direct connection to Google's servers is only established when you activate Google Maps yourself by clicking on "Reload" (consent according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR).

After activation, Google Maps will store your IP address. This is then usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transfer after the activation of Google Maps.

More information on the handling of user data can be found in Google's privacy policy.

Social Media

For data protection reasons, no plugins of the well-known social media networks (e.g., Facebook's "Like button", Twitter's "Tweet button", Google's "Plus button") are used on our website, as these buttons already transmit information to the linked social media network when loading, without the users having any influence on it.

YouTube

This website uses at least one plugin from YouTube by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (hereinafter referred to as "Google"). Services of US companies currently pose special data protection risks because there is no adequate level of data protection in the USA according to the GDPR and you may not be able to effectively enforce your rights.

To ensure data protection and to prevent your data from being transmitted to Google when you visit our website, Youtube is initially deactivated. A direct connection to Google's servers is only established when you activate Youtube yourself by clicking on "Reload" (consent according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR).

Only then will a connection to the YouTube servers be established. This informs the Youtube server which of our web pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account at this time, you enable YouTube to directly associate your browsing behavior with your personal profile. You can avoid this possibility of association by logging out of your account beforehand.

We have no influence on the extent of the data that Google collects with the help of these plugins. For further information on the collection and use of your data by YouTube, please refer to the Youtube privacy notices.

Contact, e.g., via Online Forms

If you voluntarily transmit personal data via this website, e.g., as part of a request via an online form or e-mail, you expressly agree that your personal data provided and necessary for a possible legal transaction (such as: title, first and last name, e-mail address, your message, possibly also address and telephone number, etc.) will be electronically recorded and processed.

We will exclusively use your provided data for your individual care, as far as necessary in the respective case, for processing the request, sending information, or making service offers and for follow-up questions for up to 36 months, unless they must be kept longer for reasons of proof or legal retention periods, no further communication occurs, and no customer or legal relationship exists.

If you have given us your (separate) consent, we will also use your data to continue informing you about our services.

Your data will not be used beyond this.

Information, Correction, Deletion, Blocking

You generally have the rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation, and objection free of charge. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection claims have otherwise been violated in any way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority.

The deletion of stored personal data takes place if you revoke your consent to storage or if knowledge of this data is no longer necessary for the purpose pursued with the storage. However, deletion occurs only after the expiration of the periods of tax and commercial law regulations.

For questions about the collection, processing, or use of your personal data, for information, correction, blocking, or deletion of data, please contact:
